By John Vibes Baltimore, MD – As we reported last week, the jury in the case of Baltimore Police Officer William G. Porter told the judge that they were deadlocked and had been unable to reach a verdict. Porter is one of the officers who were on the scene during the death of Freddie Gray, a young man who was killed in police custody earlier this year. The judge declared a mistrial in the case, and a new trial was scheduled for June 13th, 2016.
