By John Vibes Baltimore, MD – A Baltimore police officer that was on his way to a community meeting on Monday night decided to stop and harass a man that he came across at an intersection. In the brief encounter, the officer ended up shooting the man because he didn’t show his hands fast enough.
The shooting took place around 7:10 p.m. in the Morrell Park area, and according to a police spokesperson, the victim “refused to take his hands out of his pockets,” so he was shot by Maj. Byron Conaway, a high-ranking officer with the Baltimore Police Department.
