By John Vibes Cleveland, Ohio – In the months since police shot and killed 12-year-old Tamir Rice for playing with a toy gun in a park, the Cleveland Police Department has insisted that there was no wrongdoing on the part of the officer. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, thus far the police department has indicated that they believe that the 12-year-old boy was responsible for his own murder because he was playing with a toy gun in public.
