The FDA’s New War on Non-Smoking

And it’s your “representatives'” fault!

ACTION ITEM

I told Congress to pass the Write the Laws Act using DownsizeDC.org’s campaign.

I urge you to do the same. You may borrow from or copy this letter…

The FDA doesn’t know if smokeless e-cigarettes are unsafe, but wants to regulate them anyway!

This means…

This FDA proposal will stifle innovation, cause price increases, and discourage smokers from switching to a safer product.

And you might want to demonize the FDA to score cheap political points. But it’s YOUR fault.

That’s because Congress gave the FDA power to regulate tobacco products in the 2009 Tobacco Control Act.

That was illegal. The Constitution gives you NO AUTHORITY to transfer law-making powers to unelected bureaucrats.

The Write the Laws Act (S 1663) will require EVERY law (regulation) imposed on the American people to pass Congress.

This means…

If you don’t like e-cigarettes, you’d have to write a bill and explain yourself to e-cig users. You couldn’t pass the buck to the FDA.

Obey your Oath of Office. Stop transferring power to unelected bureaucrats.

And pass the Write the Laws Act!
