I wrote my Representative and Senators telling them to pass the USA FREEDOM Act using DownsizeDC.org’s “Hands Off the Internet Campaign.” I urge you to do the same.

That’s why you should pass Sen. Pat Leahy’s and Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner’s USA FREEDOM Act (S 1599 and HR 3361).

This bill has several good provisions. Among them, it…

* Ends bulk collection of Americans’ communications records
* Forces the feds to discard private data the NSA illegally collected
* Creates a Special Advocate to defend privacy interests before the FISA Court

I DO NOT CONSENT to being watched without probable cause. The Fourth Amendment forbids it.

More importantly, my rights exist APART from any Constitution. Such spying is IMMORAL. How can there be freedom when government agents track us?

Do the right thing. Restore the Fourth Amendment. Protect us from NSA and FBI abuses. Your oath of office REQUIRES you to do this.
