Free Press Publications is pleased to announce the publication of The Diary of Henry Myers by Darryl W. Perry and illustrated by Serena Beck. The Diary of Henry Myers tells the story of the collapse of a tyrannical dystopian empire, Namsocco, from the point of view of a reluctant hero.

The Diary of Henry Myers will be available on Bill of Rights Day, December 15, 2012. The Diary of Henry Myers is unlike any dystopian novella you’ve ever read. It is written in diary form at the fall of the tyrannical empire with flashbacks to before the war that lead to the collapse.

The book has been described as “an interesting tale… about our world as it is today that the reader almost forgets things aren’t quite this bad yet.”

This is Perry’s first novella and the first book illustrated by Beck. Perry has been recognized for his writing and editing by Freedom Book Club, LAVA and USA Book News.

FPP will give away the original artwork in a raffle. Tickets can be purchased at Winners of the nine works of art will be announced on December 15, 2012.
