Free and Equal Elections Foundation Announces Advisory Board of Directors
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 18, 2012 Contact: Christina Tobin (312) 320-4101 The ‘Free and Equal’ Elections Foundation, which works to bring together state and local leaders to build a cohesive network of activists and organizations who cross political divides to create fair elections, is proud to announce its Advisory Board of Directors.
Richard Winger brings a wealth of experience in electoral law to the board. He sits on the editorial board of the Election Law Journal and, having testified in over 300 cases, has been accepted as an election law expert in federal courts. Winger is the editor and publisher of Ballot Access News, a newsletter covering independent and third parties, as well as developments in election law reform.
Paul Jacob is the president of Citizens in Charge, a group that works to protect and expand voter initiative rights without regard to politics or party. Jacob also is the president of the Citizens in Charge Foundation, a charitable foundation that conducts research on the initiative process, educates the public, and litigates to defend the First Amendment right to petition government. As the driving force behind more citizen initiatives – including more successful ballot measures – than anyone in American history, Jacob is an essential part of the Free and Equal Elections team.
Randy Stufflebeam, Chairman of the Constitution Party of Illinois since January 2005, and Midwestern United States Regional Chairman for the Constitution Party, was recently elected Vice-Chairman of the national Constitution Party Committee. Stufflebeam says he hopes his work with Free and Equal will open up ballot access for all third parties, a mission personally inspired by the difficulties he faced getting on the 2006 ballot as Constitution Party candidate for Governor of Illinois.
Also a third party activist, Michael Jingozian ran for the 2008 Libertarian Party presidential nomination and served as the Libertarian Party’s Vice-Chairman from 2008 to 2010. As the founder of AngelVision Technologies, a marketing firm, he has achieved great success as an entrepreneur and master of media outreach. Jingozian also works with Reset America, a movement he founded to educate Americans on the dangerous path of our current two-party system. The board frequently will be consulted regarding best practices and formulating effective policy and strategy.

Additionally, Free and Equal is seeking state and local activists to serve as part of its state caucus leadership network, a coalition of like-minded activists for electoral reform across the political spectrum.
