Obama’s Stances on Immigration

People around the world want to come to America. It is still perceived as the land of opportunity. Don’t believe me? Ask President Obama, he will tell you. He was born of a foreign father and U.S. mother and he is back here in this country and even became the President. What I don’t get though is if he is allowed for it to work in his favor why not others? Sure sounds like a double standard to me.  Who knows, maybe the next great president of the U.S. is born to a U.S. mother and possibly some foreigner.

Maybe that person has already been born in one of the twin girls of a Chicago native living in Israel. Ellie Lavi gave birth to the twins yet the U.S. government will not allow it. Why you ask? Well, because she does not have any proof that the father is a U.S. citizen. She had in-vitro fertilization so now the U.S. government considers them children without a country. It strikes me as very sad that the government is using the “not an American” father to keep these children from becoming citizens when our very own President admittedly states his father was not a U.S. citizen at his time of birth. What does it say about how bad our tax system is when private companies feel so bad for what our government is doing to us that they have tax day freebies for us to help “ease the pain”? They must know something we don’t. Well actually, I do know it but somehow must people don’t. The U.S. has the highest corporate tax rate in the world. One would think that would make companies not want to do anything for citizens but I guess they feel so bad about raising the prices on their products so that when we buy them we can pay their taxes for them, that they decided to give us something back. WOW, what a racket these corporations and government have against us little people. Whoever thinks fascism is not alive and well in this country is fooling themselves. However, if you would like to get a little of your dollars back, stop in and get some “freebies” that you already paid for, go here to see what you get: http://hip2save.com/2012/04/16/tax-day-restaurant-deals-and-freebies/.

The market appears to be up again today, but for how long is anyone’s guess. The Euro Zone problems are not going away yet, the U.S. financial problems are not leaving anytime soon either. We know the solutions that were put into place for them and how that has not solved the crisis yet. But what about the crisis that will be coming BECAUSE of the solutions that were put into place? Previously we talked about Gresham’s Law of what happens to strong currencies when they meet up with “bad” money. If you are not familiar with it I suggest finding out real soon what it all means because in the end, if nothing is done about it, the bad money will win. This is not anything new in terms of facts. It is just that now the media is finally starting to report on it and what it means. Jim Jubak had a great piece on the tragedy of this subject and you can read about it here: http://money.msn.com/investing/a-new-era-of-bad-money-jubak.aspx.

For eons prostitution has been with societies. While some states have laws against it, others do not. Nevada might be a good example here in the U.S. It is not illegal everywhere in the world either. Take for instance the recent “scandal” involving the military and secret service personnel ahead of the President’s visit. Military personnel have been visiting prostitutes since we had a military. Why would now be considered any different? No law was broken (it is legal were it took place). Nope, the only problem is because a certain person was coming to town and these people were there ahead of him making arrangements. The culprits got sent home for doing nothing that was illegal. Man, you would think they were reporting to a king or something. When the dreams are big enough the facts don’t count. Keep your dreams alive and do not let the tragedies of the world affect them. Carry on and march smartly toward your goals. You will succeed if you keep your eye on your target.
