Wrights Campaign Offers Vote Libertarian TV Ad to Candidates and Affiliates

BURNET, Texas (Feb. 28) – The Lee Wrights for President campaign now has the first Vote Libertarian TV ad available for use by Libertarian candidates and local party affiliates. The 30-second spot called “War Breeds War” ends with a simple call to vote Libertarian.

“This is a universal message we think will resonate with all voters,” said Thomas Hill, Wrights 2012 campaign manager. “Any candidate can use it. Certainly, state and local Libertarian Party chapters can use it.”

This is the first in a series of spots the Wrights campaign plans to produce and make available to Libertarian candidates and affiliates free-of-charge. Each commercial will also be customizable. Candidates of affiliates will be able to insert their own message at the end of the spot.

The campaign's goal is to produce several spots, each focusing on a single topic and emphasizing a principled libertarian position on a current issue.

Candidates and local or state organizations interested in obtaining these spots should contact Hill at campaign@wrights2012.com. To make a contribution to support this project go to http://Wrights2012.com/donate.

R. Lee Wrights, 53, a libertarian writer and political activist, is seeking the presidential nomination because he believes the Libertarian message in 2012 must be a loud, clear and unequivocal call to stop all war. To that end he has pledged that 10 percent of all donations to his campaign will be spent for ballot access so that the stop all war message can be heard in all 50 states. Wrights is a lifetime member of the Libertarian Party and co-founder and editor of the free speech online magazine Liberty For All. Born in Winston-Salem, N.C., he now lives and works in Texas.
