On December 1, 2009, protesters gathered on the Montrose bridge in Houston, Texas to voice their opposition to Obama’s decision to send 30,000 more troops into Afghanistan. Our local media showed up to film this protest but not one station gave the event any airtime, although they did air bits of Obama’s speech that night. I’d like to be able to show all of you what the media does or will not: the citizens’ voices. I hope you all enjoy this.
