Help Keep Marc Emery in Canada

In less than a month the Canadian Justice Minister Rob Nicholson will sign the extradition order handing Marc Emery over to American authorities to serve a 5 year prison sentence for selling marijuana seeds….in Canada. There isn’t much time to try and stop this egregious miscarriage of justice. Do your part.
1) Please call the Canadian Minister of Justice, Rob Nicholson, and (politely) tell him that you and thousands of other Americans are opposed to Marc Emery’s extradition to the USA: 613-992-4621.
2) Contact the Canadian Minister of Public Safety, Peter Van Loan, and tell him that if Marc Emery applies for a prison transfer from the USA to Canada, that the Minister should approve it right away. Feel free to describe the conditions in US prisons.

Another very important thing you can do is write Marc Emery directly while he is awaiting transfer to the US. Please don’t write him sad, sobbing, depressing letters. Those do not help his morale. Write him letters telling him what things you are doing to carry on his important work in legalizing marijuana and ending the horrors of the drug war.
