The E-Prime and Nonviolent Communication Algorithm

I want to share you with an idea that I’ve had for a while that I think would be very helpful for me, and may be helpful for everyone (if they want it, of course). You may ask what this has to do with the Dark Android Project, but what this is relative to as far as Dark Android is one of the key (pun) security holes that I bring up often: the touchscreen keyboard. Of course, this could apply to any keyboard, but the ever-configurable touchscreen keyboard would likely be the place this could really take effect.
The idea is …read more

Cops Told To Boycott Business Because “Black Lives Matter” Sign Displayed in Nearby Home

Fairfax County, VA — The president of the Fairfax Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 77, Brad Carruthers, took to Facebook this week to dispel any myths about him being an open-minded cop.
In a lengthy message posted on Tuesday, Carruthers urged his fellow boys in blue to boycott a local pumpkin patch over a “Black Lives Matter” sign. Centreville’s Cox Farms pumpkin patch was the target of the boycott, but oddly enough, they were not the ones displaying the sign (as if that would be a reason to urge a boycott in the first place.)
Carruthers is so deeply against a group …read more

Cops Pepper Spray Crowd of School Kids Protesting a Cop Caught on Film Body Slamming Child

Pawtucket, RI — At Toleman High School on Wednesday, a brief video sparked outrage showing a police officer violently arresting a 14 -year-old boy.
Police said that student was acting unruly before the incident, allegedly trying to fight another student, so they moved in. According to police, while the officer was trying to arrest the 14-year-old, the student’s 17-year-old brother attacked the officer.
The video does not show the attack; it only shows the 17-year-old boy face down on the floor. At this point, the 14-year-old approached the officer, and he’s immediately and violently slammed to the ground.

Jesse Ventura Interview on Minnesota TV Station

WCCO-TV in Minnesota recently interviewed Jesse Ventura, who says he is considering seeking the Libertarian presidential nomination. The interview does not mention that Libertarian Party rules require presidential and vice-presidential nominees to be members of the party, although there no requirement that they must have joined before the convention.
But the interview also seems to reveal that Ventura thinks the Libertarian convention is in June. Actually it is May 26-30. Also Ventura is in the habit of saying that George Washington was not a member of any party. Actually Washington was a Federalist. Washington disliked partisanship, …read more

The Ultimate Solution Against Encryption

Here at the Dark Android Project, we often talk about some of the very complex ways that the NSA/FBI/CIA/GCHQ/etc. can get past some of the best encryption that has ever been created and/or get to the data they want. From (potentially) quantum computers, to commandeered nodes, to XKEYSCORE, to corporations selling out and screwing their customers, to splicing into server farms, to RIPA, to TAO, there are many (creepily) impressive methods that get used. Many of the times these will also be highlights on my science and tech podcast–Sovryn Tech.
But sometimes, I ignore the very simple–dare I say classic–ways that …read more

US Company Unveils First-Ever Handheld Drone Neutralizer Gun

(RT) — US sci-tech contractor Battelle has developed a revolutionary gun that can target and stop UAVs dead at a range of just 400 meters using radio signals. It expects to make it available to US government agencies next year.

“The DroneDefender can help protect us from those who may wish to do us harm. It can help us in numerous settings, from the White House lawn to bases and embassies overseas; from prisons and schools to historic sites. It easily and reliably neutralizes the threat,” boasted Dan Stamm, who led the research project for the Ohio-headquartered non-profit company.

Pharma Bro Lied, He Never Intended to Revert the 5,500% Price Increase of Live-Saving Drug

After three weeks of false promises, infamous Turing Pharmaceuticals CEO Martin Shkreli recently slipped up, admitting he has no plans to lower the price of a life-saving drug. The drug, called Daraprim, prevents infections in people with weakened immune systems, including AIDS patients and cancer survivors undergoing chemotherapy. Shkreli also admitted he is ignoring a joint letter from the House Oversight Committee and Senate Health Committee requesting a rational explanation for raising the price of the drug by 5,500%.
Three days after we exposed Shkreli as the callous former hedge fund manager responsible for raising the price of Daraprim from $13.50 …read more
