Reform Party Files for Political Body Status in California

The Reform Party was once a qualified party in California, but it went off the ballot in November 2002 because none of its statewide nominees polled at least 2% of the vote. The party has recently informed the Secretary of State that it intends to re-qualify. It needs approximately 60,000 registered members by July 11. The last time the state did a tally for the Reform Party, in January 2014, it had 16,377 members.

Syrian Refugees in Germany Expose ISIS Militants Living Among Them, Police Arrest No One

(RT) — Christian refugees from Syria claim they saw a former Islamic State member living in Frankfurt, and that this is not an isolated case. Police investigated but refused to file charges because the alleged terrorist has done nothing criminal in Germany.

Queens, NY – On Monday, January 18th, officers from the NYPD’s 103rd precinct located a baby goat that had broken loose from a local slaughterhouse and was wandering in traffic. After successfully capturing the goat, these officers went above and beyond the call of duty to save the life of an innocent creature.
According to reports, the goat had escaped from a slaughterhouse near 180th street and Merrick Ave. in Jamaica Queens. Several witnesses told police, that the baby goat was nearly hit by a car, as reported by the NY Daily News.

Tennessee Bills to Require Secretary of State to Determine Who is a Natural-Born Citizen

Two Tennessee legislators have introduced bills that amend the election code. The bills prohibit the Secretary of State from placing any presidential candidate on the general election ballot if the candidate is not a natural-born citizen. Here is the text of SB 2625. Horrifying Video Shows Troops from NATO Country Gun Down Civilians Carrying a White Flag

(RT) — An incident in which several civilians with a white flag came under fire has been caught on camera. The victims are reported to be Kurds in the town of Cizre, where they were allegedly shot at by Turkish troops.

Goldman Sachs Caught Altering US Markets Data, Removed Evidence that US is in a Recession

Arizona Secretary of State Wants to Stop Taxpayer Funding of Presidential Primaries

Arizona Secretary of State Michelle Reagan, a Republican, says she wants the legislature to pass a bill ending taxpayer support for administering presidential primaries. Legislative leaders say they agree with her, and will soon introduce such a bill. Inevitably, this would mean there would be caucuses instead of presidential primaries in Arizona, because the parties could not afford to administer presidential primaries on their own. …read more

Idaho Bill to Abolish Write-ins in Primaries and Require Party-Switchers to Switch Earlier

The Idaho Senate State Affairs Committee is sponsoring SB 1195. It abolishes write-ins in party primaries. It also says that if someone wants to vote in a party primary but that person is registered in another party, that voter must switch three and one-half months before the primary. Current law makes the deadline two and one-half months before the primary. The bill would have no effect on independent voters, who are free to join a party at the polls on primary day.
The bill’s sponsors want the bill to take effect for the May 2016 primary. …read more
