Louisiana Police Officer Shoots, Kills 14-Year-Old Honor Roll Student

Houma, La. — Louisiana State Police are heading up an investigation into a deadly shooting involving a Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Deputy and a 14-year-old boy.
According to officials, the deputy was responding to a 9-1-1 call of several teenagers running into an abandoned house on Kirkglen Loop, with a weapon.

Police officer Corporal James Johnson, of Wilmington, North Carolina, was recently indicted for choking a 16-year-old suspect while he was handcuffed. The whole incident was filmed by a camera that was inside the police car, and for months the police department has been preventing that video from reaching the public.
The family and the prosecuting attorneys have seen the video, and according to court documents, officer Johnson can be seen choking young Tyrell Rivers while he was handcuffed, and the officer can also be heard yelling “Do you want to die in this patrol car tonight?”.

Los Angeles, CA — On Saturday, September 20, dozens gathered to march from the murder site of Ezell Ford to the LAPD Newton division to demand answers, justice, and accountability. The protest was entirely peaceful, except for the thugs who brought weapons- the police.
We took the streets for the long march to LAPD Newton, we had a couple of mobile sound systems and got lots of support from people in the community along the way.
