No Charges for “Spider-man” Whose Brawl with the NYPD was Caught on Video

New York, New York – Last week, charges against a spider-man street performer who punched an NYPD cop were dropped after the defense argued that his right to a speedy trial was violated.
As we reported last year, a fight between New York police and a Times Square superhero was caught on video, but who is at fault was never determined. The man dressed as Spider-man was 25-year-old Junior Bishop, of Brooklyn. After Cop Kills Woman In Front of her Husband and 4-year-old Son, Police Took the Family Dog Too

Burlington, IA– On January 6, Burlington Police Department officer Jesse Hill shot and killed unarmed 34-year-old Autumn Mae Steele in front of her husband and their 4-year-old son. The officer was supervising a domestic dispute when he deemed it necessary to shoot the family’s dog, Sammy, but shot Autumn instead.

28 Women Escape From Prison After Seducing And Drugging Guards

Cuiaba, Brazil – This Thursday, women at the Nova Mutum public jail in Brazil formed a brilliant escape plan that involved seducing and drugging the male guards at the prison. The plan sounds like something out of a movie, but it actually worked, and 28 women were able to escape.

Michigan Proposes Death Penalty for Killing an Officer- Furthering Special Treatment for Police

Frankenmuth, MI– Senators in Michigan, the first state to ban capital punishment, have proposed a constitutional amendment allowing the death penalty for the first-degree murder of an on-duty police or corrections officer.
The resolution is sponsored by Sen. Virgil Smith, a Democrat, but also has backing from the top two Republicans in the GOP-controlled Senate. The divisive bill would require a 2/3 majority vote in both chambers before it would be put on the statewide ballot.
