URGENT NEW CAMPAIGN: Censure and expel Senator Lindsey Graham

Senator Lindsey Graham wants to be President. But he should not even be allowed to remain a Senator! Why?

Because he has threatened to use the military to force Congress to attack ISIS and to raise military spending. He actually suggested they’d surround the Capitol. You’ll find the link to his comments in the letter below.

Lindsey’s words are a direct threat to both the American people and the American Republic. The Senate must immediately censure him and expel him from office.

Does the Senate have the power to do this? You can find out the specifics at …read more

New Video Dispels the “Reached for My Gun” Myth of LAPD Cops in Killing of Homeless Man

Los Angeles, CA — Following the shooting of a homeless man in LA’s Skid Row last week, controversy arose over why the three LAPD officers pulled their triggers.
Chief Charlie Beck said that the video showed ‘Africa,’ the man killed by police, reach for a rookie officers gun. The rookie, who was just short of completing his probationary period, can be heard yelling out, “He has my gun. He Has my gun.”
The reason that a human life was ended that day by the LAPD had everything to do with the rookie yelling out those fateful words.
But did Africa really have this …read more

Alabama Secretary of State Says Petitions in Special Elections No Longer Need to Show Date of Special Election

The Alabama Secretary of State recently revised his regulations for petitions for independent candidates and newly-qualifying parties in special elections. The new regulations say that the petitions need not list the date of the special election. Where Edward Snowden is wrong

Last week, the “news” told us Edward Snowden is suddenly homesick and ready to cut a deal to come home.

That’s a lie.

He ALWAYS wanted to return to the U.S. But the condition was always a FAIR trial.

I actually disagree. Instead of a fair trial, he deserves a…

PARDON!

But he won’t get it unless President Obama is pressured on all political fronts, including Congress.

But that means…

YOU must pressure Congress to support Snowden’s pardon. That’s why DownsizeDC.org created the Pardon Edward Snowden campaign.

If you agree that Snowden deserves a pardon, you may borrow from …read more

How Snowden proved Congress needs to Read the Bills

Please tell Congress to introduce the Read the Bills Act through DownsizeDC.org’s campaign.

You may borrow from or edit this letter…

Edward Snowden showed us how the Patriot Act was used in ways Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, its sponsor, never intended.

Its Section 215 puts virtually NO limits on the fed’s ability to collect information, including bulk collection of phone calls.

Perhaps that’s not what Sensenbrenner wanted, but…

It’s in the bill!

This WOULD have been revealed if Patriot Act was actually read and debated in 2001.

Instead, the Patriot Act was introduced, passed, and signed into …read more

“Sorry, Our Bad,” ATF Says Publishing Error was Behind Ammo Ban Fear

Washington, D.C. – Last month the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) published a new framework, and regulation guide, for selecting which ammunition is “primarily intended for sporting purposes” and thus able to be exempted from the federal ban on armor-piercing ammunition.
The regulation guide, which lists currently exempted ammunition, had omitted the M855 cartridge, used in the AR-15 rifle drawing the ire of many gun enthusiasts.
These moves have raised red flags in regards to evolving government tactics in its continuing war on the 2nd Amendment.
Instead of targeting the gun itself, as gun ownership is constitutionally protected under the …read more
