Easier Recurring Buys and Sells on Coinbase

Coinbase users have had the ability to create recurring buys and sells of bitcoin (every day, week, month, etc.) for some time. This feature, however, was difficult to find and often forgotten.

We’re pleased to announce that we have brought this option front and center, making it easier to get started right from the buy or sell page.

Recurring exchanges are great for people who want to:

slowly buy bitcoin over time to avoid timing risk (also known as dollar cost averaging)
automatically sell bitcoin they receive as part of a paycheck
To get started, you can create a recurring buy or sell here. …read more

Donald Trump Says Many People Ask if He Would Run Outside the Two Major Parties

This news story says Donald Trump was asked whether he would run for president outside the major parties. He said “no”, but not in an absolute sense.
Also, see this story. Trump’s comment that everyone who voted for Ross Perot in 1992 would have voted for George H. W. Bush if Perot had not been running is contradicted by 1992 exit polls. Those exit polls showed half of Perot’s voters would have voted for Bill Clinton if Perot had not been running, and the other half said they would vote for President Bush. Of course …read more

Dark iOS?

Here at the Dark Android Project, one of the top questions I receive goes something like this: “Hey, Dr. Sovryn, I have an iOS device. Is there anything I can do to make it similar to a Dark Android-style device?”
I love the question, because honestly, there’s a part of me that still loves Apple. The Mac G4 Cube is still my favorite computer of all time (it even bests the Commodore 64, in my book). Also, in my opinion, if you’re not going to run AOSP or CyanogenMod (or something similar) on your Android device, I think you might as …read more
