Video Shows School Security Officer Beating Handcuffed Teen with Cerebral Palsy in a Wheelchair

“The whole educational and professional training system is a very elaborate filter, which just weeds out people who are too independent, and who think for themselves, and who don’t know how to be submissive, and so on — because they’re dysfunctional to the institutions.”
― Noam Chomsky

Online Gambling Ban: Is it about the children or the cronies?

I sent this letter to Congress through DownsizeDC.org’s Stop the Online Gambling ban:
&nbsp
A front group funded by casino tycoon Sheldon Adelson has hired former Senators Trent Lott-R and John Breaux-D. They’re paid to lobby Congress to pass a bill banning online gambling. (http://bit.ly/1OdSHg2)
Adelson invokes Nanny State “protect the children” nonsense to explain his stance. That’s laughable. His real motivation is obvious. He wants to protect his brick-and-mortar casinos from Internet competition.
This bill isn’t about the children, it’s about cronyism.
And just because the bill is “bipartisan,” doesn’t mean it’s legitimate.
In fact, a ban would violate the Tenth Amendment right …read more

The T-1000 is Coming. Revolutionary 3D Printing Grows Objects From a Pool of Liquid

If you think conventional 3D printing is cool, wait until you see Continuous Liquid Interface Production (CLIP) in action. It takes the creation of objects to a fantastic new level, rising from a pool of liquid media like the cyborg cop in Terminator 2.
The new technology can make ready-to-use products 25 to 100 times faster than conventional 3D printing, and vastly expands the materials that can be used and the geometries that can be achieved. It will open doors to innovations in health care and medicine, as well as the automotive and aviation industries.
Carbon3D Inc. demonstrates their technology in this …read more

Florida Top-Two Supporters Rewrite Their Initiative and Will Again Begin to Collect Signatures

A Florida group that supports top-two says it has rewritten its proposed initiative, and will start to collect signatures soon. The revised measure holds the actual election for state and county office in August, and only if no one gets 50% will there be a runoff in November. However, because federal law requires states to hold congressional elections in November in all districts, for Congress the measure won’t let anyone be elected in August, and the election between the top-two will be in November even if someone running for Congress does get 50% or more in August. …read more

The Reason this Black Cop is Grabbing a White Man Wearing a Swastika Will Make Your Day

“Until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned…..everything is war”
-Bob Marley
Columbia, SC — Recently, the United States is seemingly experiencing a flashback to a dark time in the country’s history; a time where the color of your skin meant people treated you differently.
Unfortunately, it seems that Americans are once again choosing to focus on the color of a person’s skin, and the resultant divide being created is worrisome.
What happened to the advice of Martin Luther King Jr., who asked us to judge a man by the content of his character, …read more

Do You Disagree with U.S. Govt? Retired General Calls for Internment Camps for “Disloyal Americans”

Retired General Wesley Clark recently made some alarming comments on MSNBC, advocating internment camps for Americans who disagree with the government.
While speaking with MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts about the recent terror attacks in Chatanooga, Tennessee, Clark said that “disloyal Americans” should be rounded up and put in internment camps.
“If someone supported Nazi Germany at the expense of the United States, we didn’t say that was freedom of speech, we put him in a camp, they were prisoners of war. If these people are radicalized and they don’t support the United States and they are disloyal to the United States as a …read more
