Dramatic Video of Heroic Good Samaritans Shows What the World Would Be Like Without Police

Nashville, TN – A video uploaded to Facebook this week shows what vigilante citizens do in the face of danger, and without police.
According to WKRN,
A woman fought back after a man tried to steal her purse from inside her car at a West End Avenue gas station on Tuesday.
The woman was loading items into her car at the Exxon Tiger Market at 3400 West End Avenue when Ezell Graham, 31, allegedly reached into her car and took her purse and a box of doughnuts.
The victim reportedly ran after Graham and took her purse back from him, which was when bystanders …read more

Trial Set in Missouri Constitution Party Ballot Access Lawsuit

U.S. District Court Judge Ronnie White will hold a trial in Constitution Party of Missouri v St. Louis Co., e.d., 4:15cv207, on June 30, 2016. The issue is a county election law that says when a special election is held for County Council, the only two candidates will be the nominees of the two parties that polled first and second in the last gubernatorial election. County Council is a partisan office.
It is surprising that this case needs a trial. Judge White already issued injunctive relief to the Constitution Party in this case back in February 2015, and …read more

DHS Spent $30K On Starbucks, But It’s Nothing Compared to Tax Dollars Wasted on Booze and Parties

It was reported this week that employees with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spent $31,413 at Starbucks in the year of 2013. The numbers came from a recent audit of the agency by the department’s inspector general. The estimates have shown that it took just 66 purchases for them to rack up those charges, with some of the orders being over $500.
Even the auditors didn’t seem to find much of a problem with this obnoxious spending, deciding that 61% of the transactions were “supported, allowable, and reasonable.”
According The Hill, the agency spends over $400 million per year on employee …read more

Coinbase Referral Bonuses Have Increased From $25 to $75!

A month ago we launched a revamped version of our referral program, and it has been an outstanding success. Since then, we’ve paid out over $20,000 in commissions to people who’ve referred their friends to Coinbase (and helped them get their first bitcoin).

Our referral program is simple. For each person you refer who buys at least $100 worth of bitcoin, we’ll pay you a referral bonus. That bonus used to be $25, but today we’re increasing it to $75. We’ve crunched the numbers and decided we want to invest in Bitcoin’s growth for the long term and increase our support …read more

Veterans Party Chooses National Ticket

On August 15, the Veterans Party, which was organized nationally in 2013, met in Keystone, South Dakota. It nominated Chris Keniston of Texas for president, and Deacon Taylor of Colorado for vice-president. There were 20 attendees in person and 35 others by video conference. The party is ballot-qualified in Mississippi and working to get on in several other states. Only state chairs were permitted to vote, so one could call this a caucus.
Taylor is about to embark on a national speaking tour, traveling by motorcycle.
A previous Veterans Party appeared on the Florida November 2014 ballot for …read more

2 Cops Shoot Unarmed Man, Third Cop Stands Over his Bleeding Body, Shoots Him in the Groin

Baltimore, MD — A Baltimore police officer was charged with multiple counts of attempted murder and assault on Wednesday for shooting an unarmed robbery suspect who had already been shot by two other officers.

Cop Pulled Women Over, Forced them to Perform Sexual Favors, Then Stalked them on Facebook

Columbus, OH — Former Ohio State Highway Trooper Bryan Lee lost his job and is now facing five years in prison for sexually assaulting a number of different women, on various different occasions, while on duty. It was also revealed during the investigation that Lee made posts to Craigslist where he advertised for “traffic stop sex.”
The 31-year-old former police officer and his lawyers had the audacity to ask the judge for probation during his sentencing trial even though he plead guilty to the charges against him. The motion was denied, and Lee was sentenced to five years in prison, which …read more

Speed Traps So Out of Hand, States Forced to Put Caps on How Much Cops Can Steal from Drivers

Anyone who has taken a road trip knows that speed traps are out there. Slowing down through a township is a good thing, but when authorities deceptively change speed limits and write 1,000 tickets a month on a tiny stretch of interstate, it’s just plain extortion.
The American Automobile Association (AAA) put out a study on municipalities swelling their revenues through speed traps. This policing for profit has reached egregious proportions in several US towns. Seven states have already imposed limits on the percentage of revenue a town can keep from traffic citations, and now federal legislation is being proposed.
The town …read more
