* murder innocent civilians
* further inflame anti-American hatred, and that’s what actually INCREASES the risk of terrorism
U.S. intervention against ISIS only empowers it! Otherwise, it’s not really a threat. So…
What do YOU know that the intelligence agencies (which you fund with my money) DON’T know?
And if YOU don’t trust our national security bureaucracy about ISIS, why should we the people trust bureaucratic “experts” on any other issue, from the environment to health care?

Eight weeks ago, the UK went on high alert, with an address to the nation by their Prime Minister. Our politicians were using phrases like, “existential threat” or “ISIS is already in the country.” Remember?
Downsize DC was resolute in its principles. Given enough time plus the policies of war-mongering politicians, it seems that a blowback, terrorist attack is inevitable, at some point. But starting late August, we suggested that you were probably being LIED TO.
Now, as you can see above, the scare narrative is falling apart. In fact, it’s gotten much quieter.
