For the past couple of years, FPP has had monthly donors contribute to the FANS Program. FANS are Friends, Allies & Nummary Supporters, and these FANS help FPP afford to produce more original content by offsetting some of the expenses of operating Free Press Publications.
The FANS Program was an early adopter of the recurring bitcoin payments option offered by Coinbase, and has now integrated with Patreon. This integration will allow FANS to obtain more perks in addition to the monthly FPPNews. It also allows others to see how close FPP is to its monthly funding goal.
