By John Vibes Deptford, New Jersey — Wenonah resident John Cokos recently settled a lawsuit against the Gloucester County police department for $35,000. The lawsuit comes after an arrest for drug possession because the officer claimed that his crackers were crack rocks.
According to NJ.com, the incident occurred in November of 2011 when Cokos was stopped by police because they saw him walking down the street with a video camera. When the police approached him, he began to record them with the camera, which allegedly made them angry.
