Fort Lauderdale, FL — Police in Fort Lauderdale recently shut down a charity operation at Stranahan Park, because they were breaking a newly implemented law against feeding the homeless.
Local news sources reported that at least three people were written tickets, including a 90-year-old charity worker who has been feeding homeless people for over 20 years.
