Cheshire TV Reporter accosted at Pumpkin Fest

On Saturday October 18, during the Keene Pumpkin Fest, reporter Jared Goodell was broadcasting live from the festival and reporting on the riots that were happening about a block and a half away form the event. Goodell mentioned the riots, and said he’d read a statement by the President of Keene State College when he returned from a break. Upon returning, Ruth Sterling, the event organizer attempted to remove the microphone from his hand, accused him of being a “Free Stater,” and threatened to “pull the plug” on his broadcast for daring to report the news.

The full clip of the attempt to shut down freedom of the press is below, with context of what happened immediately before the break, during the break, and the beginning of the interview with Zach Sang.
