Is the NSA spying on Congress?

I wrote my representatives demanding they find out using DownsizeDC.org’s Obey the Constitution campaign.

I encourage you to do the same.

The hardwired message says…

You swore an oath to obey the Constitution. Honor that oath. Abide by the Constitution’s limits on federal power.

That includes stopping the Executive Branch’s ABUSE of power.

For a dozen years, BOTH parties have followed the ideology of extreme militarism as revealed by…

* countless privacy and civil liberties violations
* numerous foreign policy blunders
* protection of the Military-Industrial Complex from even modest spending cuts

You also…

* ratified George W. Bush’s ILLEGAL warrantless wiretap program, instead of impeaching him
* let NSA chief James Clapper get away with lying to Congress

I can’t help but wonder…

Has Congress been compromised — even blackmailed? In short…

Is the FBI and/or NSA spying on you?

I have my suspicions…

* Attorney General Eric Holder REFUSED TO DENY that the Justice Department spies on Congress. (http://bit.ly/1cP88WB)
* The NSA ALSO won’t deny spying on you. (http://bit.ly/JB3OE2)

This wouldn’t be new…

* Former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover kept embarrassing files on members of Congress, so they’d obey his budget requests and let him do as he wanted. (http://thebea.st/1epRLTd)
* During the Vietnam War, the NSA spied on Senators Frank Church and Howard Baker (http://atfp.co/1afqVhL)

That’s why…

I demand a FULL INVESTIGATION into the surveillance activities of the NSA, FBI, and ALL federal agencies… and PROSECUTION of those who lied before Congress.

If Congress refuses, then that will just confirm my worst suspicions…

* elections are a sham
* secret police and spy agencies have more influence over Congress than the people do
* the Republic is dead

TAKE ACTION on this as soon as possible. Your legitimacy depends on iit.
