Do You Favor Negotiations with Iran?

The Consent Chronicle

This is the official email newsletter of the Zero Aggression Project and DownsizeDC.org, Inc

NOTE: Stop Watching Us, a transpartisan coalition in which DownsizeDC.org is a partner, is holding a rally THIS SATURDAY in Washington DC to protest NSA spying. Even if you can’t attend, you can get involved. Details here:http://www.downsizedc.org/blog/stop-watching-us-rally-this-saturday

I sent Congress a letter using our Iran campaign. The hardwired message for that campaign reads…

I oppose conflict with Iran.

To this I added the following personal comments which you may copy or edit…

Tell the President that you support negotiations with Iran. I see no reason for continued conflict with that country.

Iran’s defense budget is less than that of Norway.

The 2007 National Intelligence Estimate concluded that Iran has no plans to build a bomb.

The International Atomic Energy Agency reported in 2011 that Iran ended its bomb program in 2003. James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, reaffirmed this last year.

Please end the saber rattling. The Military Industrial Complex may need new enemies, but I don’t.
