Do You Want Another War?
John McCain was responsible for the legalized kidnapping provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012. McCain wants to jail anyone associated with Al Qaeda. But then, on Memorial Day, the Senator went to Syria and shook hands with Syrian rebels, some of whom are associated with Al Qaeda. This is illegal under the laws McCain helped pass. But will McCain go to jail? Of course not. But maybe we can help stop the latest war he wants.
If you oppose John McCain’s Syrian war then TAKE ACTION: We provide a sample letter you can send to your “representatives” instructing them that you don’t want yet another war in the Middle East.

Great things are coming very soon…
Yesterday, our beta testers tried out phase one of the new Zero Aggression Project website. So far, the feedback has been helpful, resulting in only minor tweaks. We plan to share this first phase with you next week!
Also yesterday, Downsize DC’s attorney and I had a conference call with a Member of Congress. The result? He said he’s going to introduce one of our bills! Stay tuned.
WHAT’S MISSING
Today, we’re heralding good news that you’ll see quite soon. More good news is stacked behind it. And our ability to capitalize comes down to the same thing it always does — money.
Downsize DC is changing the world on a lean budget. But months of development and a recent cyber-attack has left us reeling. Right now, we need many generous one-time donors.
