By Matt Agorist Harris County, GA — An apparently confused Georgia sheriff attempted to make a declaration of his intolerance, setting off a storm of controversy.
Sheriff Mike Jolley of Harris County decided that it would be a good idea to put up a sign in his town ‘warning’ people who disagree with his views to ‘leave.’
Underneath the “Welcome to Harris County Georgia” sign, Sheriff Jolley added another sign that reads:
“WARNING: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America, and in God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you… LEAVE!”
